TEN THINGS I NEVER KNEW BEFORE TWENTY-THREE.

When I was growing up, I wanted to be rich and have a comfortable life. To me, happiness means riches. Little did I know that there are more valuable things than riches. Things that are worthy and precious than money and fame. By twenty-two, I landed myself in the university pursuing a masters of art in journalism. Mind you, I had a lot of fantasies but none had come into being. I was so myopic. God, how on earth could I think all there is to life is to have money, fame and fun. I cannot blame myself that much. I grew too fast and ignorantly.

I gave my life to Christ when I was twenty-one. Though I was a born-again Christian, I never saw it as any big deal. At least it does not have to be boring just because I’m a church girl. It was not as if I was having fun in my past life anyways. With time you all will get to know me better and you will realize my middle name is boredom. I’m sure by now you all are wondering why I am giving this plenty introduction? Well, its time. Time to share the content of what Jordan’s nugget is meant for. It just would not be fair for you to know the things I’m knowing now and how late I am knowing them without knowing me first.

My name is Jordan and I am 23 years old. Before 23, I never knew Jesus was and is the first most important person in the world. Oh yeah, there you have it. I hope you were all not expecting me to say something else. Well, sorry to bust your bubbles but I was in total darkness. I was leaving my own created life and thinking what the hell, I might as well enjoy it as it last. Thanks to Abraham. You are an angel. Infact you are my personal angel. Thanks a million for taking me to church and allowing me to get to know God better. Guys, I might sound funny and almost insane but there is no better feeling than that of knowing and accepting Jesus Christ as your lord and personal savior. Bible says there is joy in heaven anytime someone accept Jesus. I am sure there was great joy in heaven when my spirit, soul and body was dedicated fully to God. Do you know that Jesus loves you just the way you are? He is so much in love with you despite your extra loads of fornication, lies, theft, name them. Isn’t it awesome.
